Hello:

I hope that you, Serenity and your family are doing well. I work with the National Marrow Donor Program, which houses the US volunteer donor registry for people needing bone marrow /stem cell transplants.

I don't know if you are considering this for Serenity, but if you have ANY questions, please email me at dcarr@nmdp.org.

I wish Serenity and you all the best.
Diane

I hope Serenity and your family are doing well! My daughter Mollie (age 4) was just diagnosed with A.L.L. a few weeks ago and she is on day 20 of induction. We like reading your blog and we hope Serenity's fight against cancer continues to go well. You sound like great parents and I would love to e mail/chat with you sometime.

Mollie's blog is http://www.allaboutm…t.com

Take care,
Sarah

Leukemia hit my family about 20 years ago. It was a tough row to hoe in every possible way. There is however, good news. So much has been done since then in the way of improved treatments and better comprehension of the disease (actually it is diseases –plural– because “Leukemia” is a blanket term for several diseases and your baby is dealing with only one of them, but then you probably already know that). You can know in the very marrow of your being that you little one is being given the best

Adria,
I was checking my email because i like to read up on the comments from the http://www.all-kids.org and i always visit the sites about the kids......and i realized that you are from utah. We live down in springville utah. Our site is on caring bridge. My son's name is Skyler Hansen. He is a high risk All pre-b cell. He was diagnosed a little over a year ago. He is doing well now. These kids are stronger than i ever realized. I hope all continues to go well with your beautiful daughter.

I was given a link to your blog by Nancy Babyak. I will put your daughter and your family into my prayer list. I pray the doctors and nurses get the wisdom and knowledge to do what is required to help cure this awful disease. Strength for Serenity and a calming over all the appointments and procedures so that the pain and nervousness is gone. I know first hand how stressful the hospital is. God Bless you and your family

I came across you on day 17 and I've been spreading the word to others to come listen to your story. As I said in the comments there, kids should not feel such pain, and we, their protectors, should not be powerless to stop it.

Serenity is beautiful.

This is a beautiful and well written account of your new life. My daughter is also in treatment for ALL, and is doing very well with 8 months left of treatment. I also keep a blog and I'm so glad I have it, especially those very rough first few months. Things are radically different now. My daughter really is just like any other kid her age, except for those pesky treatments. Keep strong, you will get through this. Sending all my love to you and yours.

Just wanted to say, I am an Amitymama following your journey and I am so sorry you and your sweet little daughter are going through this. It sounds very trying and painful on every level. May she feel better soon and wishing you strength in all the tough times ahead. - Josie in TN

Here's a hug from Central Wisconsin for you. You have a whole world of people under you, lifting you up, and I'm one of them. Love her hard, mama. (Amanda from Tumble Dry sent me here).

Thanks for posting your thoughts, Phil. Our prayers are with Serenity and your family right now. Please know that there are lots of folks sending you positive thoughts and prayers. Please draw strength from our support!

I've forwarded your blog on to several of my friends via twitter, email, digg, etc., hoping more people can donate to Serenity's fund so you don't have to stress about the cost of getting Serenity better. I found you through @QueenofSpain.
